Smile This has probably been asked before...

but I want just don't feel like searching and I needed something to do. As some of you already know, my wife and I have ordered a 02 L (True Blue).

My question is:

If you were only able to change, add, upgrade, etc.. on the Lightning and do nothing else, what would that be?

Thanks

Happy Holidays!

If I were to add, change or upgrade on my Lightning and do nothing else...I would have one hell of a bill. Grin...Really would upgrade the stereo speakers and add at least a small sub, depending on your like or dislike of bass. Tint the windows, 2" drop shackels in the back...it handles better and looks better. Seat covers. Be prepared to have the warrenty fix the drivrs seat bolster and make them put on a new seat cover for the bottom pillow. Magnaflow muffler for that mellow tone. Performance chip and intake. It only depends on your budgetand obssesion when you deal with the great trucks. You'll understand soon enough.
Fix the slot in the lower left a arm with some eccentric cam bolts or weld it before it starts wallowing around.

If there was one thing I would change about my L, it would have a better stereo system in it from the factory.

Ford kinda screwed us on the stereo. Why the mustangs got the Mach460 sound system I will never know!!!

Now that was bad, but funny!!!! Made me laugh. Thanks everyone for allowing me to live thru you until I get the L. I hope I can hang on until it comes in.

I don't want it to get so bad that I (oh god no) buy and R/T.

Helllllllllllp!

Sorry just lost it for a second.

I'm with RTKilla on that one, 20" chrome wheels would look real nice, but then everyone would have them and they wouldnt be as special anymore

Talking

Tampa, i thought about it, but was quickley reminded of a Gomer Pyle episode, when Gomer mistakenly call Sgt Carter "sir" and spent the rest of the afternoon singing "Halls of Montezuma" with a galvinized bucket on his head, while Carter screamed repeatedly "Don't you ever call me sir, i work for a living!!!!!"

so i passed on it, or something

There's a bunch of things in my opinion, but the single-most thing that bugged me the most right out of the dealership lot was the stereo because it's so anemic. I can't believe it doesn't at least equal the Mach 460 (or whatever) Mustangs like my buddy has. Next would be the "soft" tranny. But I cured both......
