Well, I figured I'd take this opportunity to give u guys something to laugh at......Sorry to steal your thunder 2002tbl

6 tickets in one day.......in my Accord 2 years ago. Here's the short version:

Well, after a cop cut me off, I made eye contact with him as I passed by him (under the speed limit). He didn't like it and came up behind me.....stayed there for a few seconds, then he passed me and got in front of me......after staying in front of me for about a minute, he switches lanes again, lets me pass him, and pulls me over.........TICKET #1: following too closely. TICKET #2: tinted license plate cover.............

There's now 3 cop cars behind me (he called for "backup" I guess). I get my tickets, at this point I'm mouthing off and acting like an ***, because I didn't deserve this ****......I pull away, go to make a U-turn, and do so on top of some gravel at the u-turn.....so I peel out a little............THEY ALL PULL ME OVER AGAIN!!! TICKET#3: illegal start from stop.........2 more cop cars arrive, making it 5 cops in total!!! TICKET #4: Illegal tints; TICKET #5: front tint strip too low; TICKET #6: sticker on front windshield too low also.......

GRAND TOTAL: (44*4) + (78*2) = $332.00 plus traffic school if desired

I ended up paying $49 for the first moving violation; and $15 each additional ticket with "The Ticket Clinic"

That's the short version!!!!!!!

ok........pick yourselves up from laughing..........hopefully no encounters of this nature in my Lightning, even though, as u can see in my sig, check out my tints!!!

Stupid Reason I Got A Ticket

When I got pulled over I was driving with about 20 cars on the way to Austin my truck at the time was a Ford Ranger not a fast truck, but we were all doing 90 to 100 depending on the terrain and traffic but we ran across the good ol highway patrol (TDPS) I was the one who got nailled and he told me he pulled me over for speeding 92 in a 70 I asked why he got me the others were going faster than I was he told me I was the only one he could catch the one in the rear.. Is that stupid or what!!

Hell I have a Lightning Now Im in front if im gonna get cought im gonna get caught good and give him a good run for his money make him work to catch up with the pack maybe they will get the one in the back!!

Keep the cops off your a$$ and stay in front!! It also helps to get a good radar detector!! Valentine one here saves my a$$ now!!!

In my ranger, i got a ticket for having my liscence plate abstructed by snow. Now the catch phrase is, it was a blizzard outside i was on my way home from classes that were let out early for bad weather, and that night we received about 10 inches of snow. To this day i still think i should have just shoved it in 4x4 and gotten away. I've been in cars that have done that before, we were in two 00 ford explorers doing doughnuts in a parking lot one day, cops pulled into the same snowed in parking lot, all we did was flip the switch and drive away it was great, no crown vic could keep up with us in the snow ( good thing our liscence plates were snowed in

My guess is that you are all under 25 which is a good enough reason to give a ticket.

Was heading down the Oregon coast on HWY 101 following my friends motorhome with a cop between us. We travel about 5 miles at or below the posted speed when the cop suddenly darts to the shoulder. He immediately pulled back on to the road behind me and hit his lights. I pull over, he comes up to the window and I ask why he stopped me. Well he said, "I noticed your license plate light is out". How the heck he saw that while in front of me I will never know.

One thing to remember about Virginia is that you can buy anything for your vehicle even if its illegal!!!

I was driving home in my old '91 Chevy S-10 lowrider!!! Here is were it gets good!!!

Driving along RT.17 when I see this state pooper in the median(I was going the speed limit). He pulls out and is racing to catch up to me. I finally pull over and he yanks me out of the truck and frisks me and leans me up against the back of my truck. He told me that the reason he pulled me over was because my truck is too low to the ground!!! This is where I made my mistake...I started mouthing off to the cop and here is what he ticketed me for.....
1.) Truck to low to the ground
2.)Tint was too dark,
3.)Tinted plate cover.
4.)tinted headlight covers
5.)windshield banner
6.)radar detector
7.)altered suspension(hydralics)
8.)noise ordinance violation(music too loud)
9.)speeding(65 in a 55) Yeah, I know, I said I was going the speed limit, but soon found out I was not on the interstate!!!
10.) resisting arrest(because I told him to go f@#k himself and refused to put on the cuffs!!!

Now they called my dad because I was underage and they told him what I had done and what tickets I recieved and my dad said to lock me up. I spent one week in jail and my truck was impounded and I spend a total of $4,000 in fines.

I have since grown up and even see the cop that arrested me and I talked to him about it and even apoligized for my actions. He was cool about it and said it was one of his most memorable stops.

Soooo, I win for the most tickets in one stop!!!! And I even got arrested!!!

Talking Don't forget about STUPID drivers too!!!

I was riding with a guy from work one night on our way back from lunch and he is the first one at the light with another car. He decides that he is going to race him. I look in his side mirror and I see the cop!!! I didn't say anything because this guy is a complete idiot and deserved a ticket. He nails it when the light turns green and he now noticed the cop and is still speeding (65 in a 45). The cop comes along the side of us and then slows down and gets behind him and turns on his lights. This guy pulls over right in front of where we work. He says to me that he does not have his license on him and I said that is cool, they will just look you up in the system, because they have done that with me before. So, the cop comes up to the window and say, "can I see you license and registration and this guy says, "I don't have my license and registration because my license is suspended and he didn't have the car registered to him!!!

To make a long story short, this guy got arrested for driving on a suspended, no registration, not inspection, no county sticker(which proves that you have paid you taxes), expired license plates tags, and driving under the influence(he drank at lunch)!!!

No mid you that he got off on all these tickets which would have added up to $3,000, but the cop never showed up for court and he got off scott free!!!

Now thats what I call luck!!! He still has the reputation of being the dumbest person on the face of the earth!!!

Mine's not as good as some here, but here it goes:

I had a 84 XLT with a warmed over 302 that ran pretty good. I picked up a friend of mine and we went riding out on the town. Now she was a Chevy girl and she didn't think my truck was much. We were headed back to her house and pulled up to a 4 way stop. I proceded to show her just how long I could spin the 255/60-15's (about 40 feet, couldn't see a thing in the rear view for all of the smoke, except for those lights, oh crap....) Got pulled over, got a hazardous driving (only $65 at the time, no biggie) she was impressed.

The real bad thing was, the cop said he was sitting to my right waiting to go through the 4 way and I never saw him. He laughed at me....

LOL I was just thinking the same thing...

I live relatively close to a high school and some punk tried to go around me this morning on a two lane road w/ double yellows. He didn't succeed but it's just plain scary to see these kids driving around like that (guess I'm 'old' at 29...)

Oh and two days ago driving behind two girls on their way to the same school whose driver spent more time looking in the vanity mirror applying mascara than watching the road....hmm and insurance for the young is expensive because???

One night after I had run a personal best at the track(I was so pumped up) as I was leaving I did a big burnout. All off a sudden I see blue lights, damn I was busted big time.

I got real lucky, talked my way out of the ticket, but I learned a valuable lesson that night.

ok, talk about bad drivers....i thought high school was bad until I came to Gainesville (u of F).....i see AT LEAST 3 wrecks a day and i am only on the road about 20miles.....to top it off, i have been here 3 months and already had some very fortunate punk almost hit my L with his rice burner....i call him fortunate because he didn't hit it......i'd hate to see what i'd do if my L got hit up here....death tolls would be great!

trooper trapped in the right lane behind a big dump truck. me going 60 in 55 during mild rain. i go to left lane to pass and do so. get over to right lane after the pass and the interstate widens to 4 or 5 lanes i think. tropper gets behind me and sticks it to my tailgate. flashes the lights and i pull over. liscense, registration, and proof of insurance ready when he gets there. claims i was going 68 while he paced me. my gf was in the truck with me and could have testified only it was on my way back to school from spring break and ticket was in VA and I go to school in AL. no way i was driving that far to save $66 not worth my time or gas money. that was my first and last ticket. next time i get busted for speeding will be in a Dodge Viper and I'll be going at leat twice the limit. i was (still am) 21 at the time. 22 on january 3rd.

lesson learned: when cop gets behind you get down to 5 under.

to the guys getting ticketed for tinted liscense plate cover thingies. take those things off! most states have legislation about obstructing your plates. and they're ugly......of course that's just my opinion.
