Question ? 4 AutoMeter Gauge Users

I just recieved my phantom Autometer guages (fuel, boost,a/f) and noticed that doesn't appear to have a light kit in them. Do you have to order them seperate? How do i get the green glow to match the dash?

Bruce, all Autometer gauges come with a light in a socket, and one green and one red bulb bootie. They usually come in the sealed pack with all the mountning stuff and misc pieces. If you didn't get any, someone might have swiped them before they were shipped.

Just what Sal said. Also, the A/F Gauge will not have a backlight, just the led sweeping.

By the way guys,
Is the a/f gauge a worthwhile guage to install, or is it just a pretty light show?

I just happen to have an autometer ultralite a/f guage, but will install water temp, boost, and fuel press guages in the tripple guage pod first. If the a/f guage is worthwhile, I will find a place for it on the dash.

Its a worthwhile gauge in my opinion because in the event you have a problem you will be able to tell if you are running too lean.

Whoop's, my bad, in my "light headed" state after arriving home from work I opened the a/f gauge and there was a plug where the light should be. After sobering up this morning, I looked at the other gauges and you are right Sal, green and red booties It sucks to work in the rain alllll-day

Because of the effort to hook up the A/F gauge I wouldn't say its worth it!!!

I have it and it is just a good light show. It does work mind you, because when you let off the gas it goes lean untill you hit the gas!!

I guess it is all personal preference!!!
