The only way to stop the bolt from moving is to fill the slot in the frame (ie washers, or weld it) If you weld it will you still have adjustment? With the washers the bolt can still rotate. I'm not into putting to must torque into a bolt or a nut. I didn't care how big it is! Torque readings are there for a reason. Also the washers that Ford is using is junk! They will move in time!

You convinced me a long time ago to buy your washers...I have been following this problem on different threads for the last 8 months. Since Ford can't fix the clunk problem for free, I'm ready for the cure.
You do make a great product, I was just trying to get Ford to fix it for free.
I made a deal with my dealer, they are going to install Herbs washers under warranty and the cam bolts for free also.
Herb , you have mail...Send me some washers ASAP...
