Versatility.
I can stomp most vehicles and then tow them to their house if they break.
You can race anyone best of three 1/4:
Race 1. Heads up.
Race 2. Race carrying a couch.
Race 3. Race towing a car.
I feel like I can win 2/3 no matter what you drive.

Being a child of the early 60'S , and having owned many 60's
muscle cars. It has brought back some of the feelings of those
days to me.. I've owned Chargers, Cudas, Mustangs, Trans-Ams,
two 427 tri-power Vettes, and many others. Except for the

1991 Camaro Z281LE: Factory deleted air conditioning(damn good heater though), full 6 point roll cage(not only SCCA/safety reasons, but to make the entire chassis more rigid) PITA gettin' in and out-over the side-bar, back seat removed, 5 speed trans(weak-and being a daily driver, very tiring in traffic, only 305 ci offered(hogged out .030 to 310 ci--shoulda been a 350?), heavy steel hood and doors, poor build quality, etc. Don't get me wrong, it was a decent road course car--did a 1 min. 31 sec. lap at Roebling Road(2.02 mile, 9 turns) but no 1/4 miler(never tried it) and whould wear me down, especially in the summer time.
And you wanna know what I like about my L

What do I love about my Lightning?
A. I can whomp-*** on just about anything in a drag race.
B. I can whomp-*** on just about anything on a twisty road.
C. I can perform A & B and look DAMN GOOD doing it.
D. I don't see a million other white '99 lightnings everywhere. (Like when I had my '91 Mustang GT)
E. The look on every single Z28 owners face when they get their butt TOTALLY KICKED by a pickup truck.
(I know you guys have seen 'the look'. Ain't it great?!)

Hmmmm, what do I like about my Lightning??? You would think I had it memorized!!!
1.) The looks I get!!!!
2.) Chicks dig it!!!
3.) I don't have to have a trailer for my racin' goodies, I can just throw them in the bed!!!
4.) The great people I have meet along the way!!
When I first seen these trucks in '99, I knew I had to have one. When I got through with college and got a good job, buying one was the first thing I did, I didn't even have an apartment yet!!!!
Trust me, I got a a lot of flack from my parents about my $30,000 investment, oh wait, now its my $35,000 investment!!!
Here is what $35,000 will get ya!!! (sorry for the HUGE pic)

I like that fact that it is not thought of to be fast, They let me go first and try to come get me!!!! NOT!!!!!
