You gotta read this. LOL

Was looking in the classifieds under the "trucks wanted" and there is someone who is looking for a Gen 2 for $16,500! LOL
I just thought that was funny. There is one in the "trucks for sale " section though for $20,000.

Hey 2002tbl,
I think he means someone is looking to buy an L for around 16,000, not offering one for that price. Hope that helps.

Just like all used cars, the market for used Lightnings is soft. I know that 99's and 00's can be had for under $20k

Dont think i have seen a Lightning go for any less than $25000.oo except the $23000.oo one with like 100,000 miles on it. Here in Houston the market is pretty good for resale.

I hate to rain on your parade, but there are many, like this one on dealer lots. Some are asking slightly over $20k, but will certainly sell for less. And these L's do not have 100k miles. Most are under 50k miles.
When you go to trade in your old beast for a 2002, you will find out.

RAIN on my PARADE!!!

Isn't it interesting how you cannot get the miles listed on the link?

You'd have to pay to get the report from what I can tell....

Sounds like snake oil to me...
