realworld 1/4 mi times?

What are the 0-60 times for these quarter mile times you guys post? i.e. from the 11.20 up to the mid twelves, in comparison to stock going 13.75 or so.

I know that the quarter mile is a better application and estimator of any vehicles true speed and acceleration, but not all of us are familiar with the track or do 115 on the highway.

So, for a truck the runs 12 flat or so, what is the 0-60 time?

Thanks

The only way to measure O-60 is with a G tech or a stop watch niether of which are reliable. SOme of the magazines use 5 th wheel equipment that can measure 0-60 but not many of us have access to that equipment

The best I could so far was 0-60 in 5.4 sec on my Tazzo unit, that was with wheel spin and loosing the back on a the 1-2 shift. The thing proved reasonable accurate at the track, so on the street it should be about the same

Many a day ago, we tried out the G-Tech got a best 0-60 of a 5.1sec. This was back in the day of a fairly stock truck, on the street, on street tires, and feathering the throttle. I would imagine that one of our 12.1 passes at the track today on the slick and nitrous would yield a 4.0 to 3.8 0-60?
