Mod shops in Detroit Area

So far i have not found one mod shop in the entire Detroit area, it seems like there should at least be a descent one for lightnings somewhere around here, but most i have checked out never have any parts in stock, it would be nice to go to a shop and check out some of the parts in person. Even though the websights at PSP, JDM, JL, and LFP are all informative websights, it would be great to find someone in the detroit area to talk to in person.

Not quite Detroit area, but Pauls High Performance out in Jackson does mods for the L. Got to see the new electric clutch fan system he's done up. Pretty cool, although a bit costly. He also does custom chips, has single blade tb's and a host of other things.

Call Pauls High Perfomance 517-764-7661. He's done all the mods on my truck and the best I saw this year was a 12.71 with a trans that slipped all the way in high gear. He's great to work with and has stuff that non of the other tuners have yet. Just my 02.

I should just get me a job at svt headquarters, i live so close i could walk there, almost done with college. Then maybe i could start my own shop.

You are right about the speadways though, there was one in flat rock, but i think that one shut down just last year or so.
