Yes, I use it in my lightning and I am an amsoil dealer. I chose to use the 0w-30 serires 2000. In my other vechicle I run 20w-50. I have never had a problem with the oil. I change mine very 3000 miles and it looks like new.

I have used Amsoil front to rear in my F-150 4x4 for some time now and am very pleased with it. As soon as I figure out which oil weight to use in the differential (80W-90 or 75W-140) I will be changing to Amsoil front to rear in my L.

I don't use it personally, but I know of a lot of guys on www.ford-diesel.com that use it in their Powerstrokes.

Later,
Roger

I used Amsoil in my Chevy Z71, also used their products in the differentials, tranfer case, and transmission with no problems. I changed the filter and topped off at 3K, then changed oil and filter every 6K. I would pass on their air filters though, dropped my milage and power even over a stock filter.

I also was an amzoil dealer, and i personally think their di-ester structured synthetics are the best you can buy.But I thought the oil filters restricted oil flow. This was a topic of conversation at several meetings due to the fact that they filter down to 1 micron of particle as opposed to 3 microns which is what most other good filters are rated at.Because of the material used to do this, I, as well as some others felt a flow test should be performed ...it has never been done.
