My 01(JDM) VS Friends 01(JL)
This is not meant to start a flame war in any way. We did this out of just plain old curiosity and lots of s!@# talkin' between the two of us! Besides, I had done tore his azz up a few times when he was stock and thought he could beat me! I told him he would be moddin' his L after I ran him and he said he would never mod it! LOL!............ I knew better. His L was modded the next week! LMAO!
His truck has the JL 3# lower,Jl chip, and K&N panel filter. I have the JDM 2# lower,metco 1# upper,JDM chip, and panel filter. These are two equal modded trucks.
He pulls up beside me about 25 mph and nails it just to intimidate me!
I thought damn! It looked like he was shot out of a freakin' cannon!!! He got sideways and was gone! So we finally make a few runs on the open hwy from a 20,30,60 roll, and a from a stop.
As far as whoopin' the other one's azz, it came down to whoever got in it first! Wichever one of us hit it first would get a truck length on the other one, but neither could pull on or away from the other. What did impress me about his was when ever he hit 2nd gear, his would start spinning the rear tires!! Mine will not do this!
Maybe the torque converter lockup id different between the two chips.
Anyways, sorry so long, but the differences between these two chips is really small, if any. Both of them are awesome and well worth the money!! Thanks to JDM, JL, and PSP for all your hard work getting these 5000 pigs to move like they do!

competition is good for all of us. We are lucky truck owners to have these guys bustin' their azzes to help us go even quicker--reliably.

Hey Skank Dog, I'd race you but you would smoke me right now. My truck is still at the dealership with no motor. When I get her back she is going to Houston for Christmas. When she gets back she supposedly is going to be the baddest SOB around!
