Sal, Thanks for the plugs

Well after blowing the motor in my new 01 L I wanted to make sure everything was done right this time. (blew engine because of running too lean, low fuel tank) Had the NGK R5671A-7 in the L. Called NGK to find out if this is the plug I should use in my L. The guy told me that they were not the right plugs at all. He also pointed out why, gasket type and we need tapered, too long, and non resistor which could blow out the computer and/or coil packs. I asked him what plug would he use, his answer was the TR6 if you are running the stock boost and the BR7ES if higher boost levels were being used. These are the same plugs that Sal has been running and told me were good but may be too cold for the street (fouling) Will be installing this week and will let everyone know how they work out.

The purpose of this message is to let everyone know that I think Sal does his homework and makes sure that the products he recommends are the right product for our Ls. Way to go Sal.

I thought the TR-5's were best for non-nitrous L's..
