? For All You Silver Owners.

Hey guys i was thinking about getting silver racing stripes painted on my black truck. The silver that i would want the stripes to be would be the silver color that our trucks come in. I like that silver and like how it has metal flake in it when you get close to the paint. so i was wondering if any of you Silver owners out there could check the door of your truck for the paint code for that silver. Any info would be great.
Thanks
Vin

Yes,parts dept. can look it up by that code.

I would say black on silver would look killer, but I'm not too sure of silver on black.Don't ask anyone elses opinion. You know what they say about opinions.I've seen guys with bugshields, criticize other guys appearance mods.

Thanks again for the info. I took some duct tape this afternoon and my black lightning diecast and made some silver racing stripes on her and i think she looks pretty sweet. So here are some pics of her not the best but you get the idea. I think this would look great on my truck especially with my cowl calling my body shop tommrrow about price.

I painted my son's radio control L black with silver flames.Everyone thought it looked cool.Just not sure how it would look on the real deal.Go for it.At least you'll have something different than the same 5 or 6 things everyone else is doing.Customizing does not mean "open the box and bolt on".

Post some pics and brag when you're done.

Hey Vin, I hope the "real" paintman, paints straighter stripes on the real truck LOL That paint code YN is for 2001 , there was a different paint code for the 2000's. BTW 2001= more metallic flake
