I can only afford three cans of spray paint, but I'm still curious to know how much it cost you to have it painted.

wheels

I don't like the giant wheels and rubber bands for tires. TRABUCO's look ok to me 'cause his tires have some sidewall. All I see is ricemobiles with fat tailpipes and giant flashy chrome rims and rubber bands for tires. If that is the new "in" look then I guess I'll never fit. I'd like to get some 18 inch Torque Thrust IIs but with factory tires in front and taller in back with a 3 inch rear and 2inch front drop. BUT it IS your truck.

KIHMO.......The cost to do a job like mine is Approx. 5k

DR.D There is a huge wheel and tire dealer next to the Body shop. they saw my truck today and offered to let me come by and test fit whatever wheels I want so it should make the decision a little easier..also how do I get a pic in my sig

To everyone, Thanks for the nice compliments I'll post some more pics as the project comes along- wheels, exhaust, hood etc...this coming week we'll color sand and polish it once more and we're considering painting the Blower and some other underhood components

What rims are those on that silver L?

Instead of buying another 18" tire right now i might wait till spring and pick up a set of 20"s.

Are those 18's or 20's in that pic? I would like to do 20's while it is away this winter and do a 3-5 drop on it.

Thanks

Hi TZ--Funny, I was coming down sample rd, Monday heading west going past Costco, and I look to the left and I see this orange Lightning. I then realized it was the same one I saw on the website ! Truth is I really thought it was a photoshop pic...that was until yesterday !!Anyway I thought it looked great .I gave you the thumbs up when you went by. And thanks for the courtesy "headlight flash ". I give you a lot of credit for going with a different color that just happens to look terrific !

Paul,

Come on by Tower shops again on Friday and I'll have my '99 with the 305-55-18's and you can see what you think.

Tell Dave at Good Roads it was fun Sunday nite......we both made the quarter finals at Moroso.

May not have to wait to long for a purple one. I have spent
several days hounding my buddy at the paint shop to do mine
in the purple DOCTORD had on this site.
We are very very close on an agreement. He has painted my
65 and 53 F-100's, and both have taken their share of
Best of Shows.. will let you know.

Marc

Go_rila has learned to smile when he gets caught with his pants down. He was like taking a power dump or something........

Man, that Orange is awesome looking. Reminds me of the old Pontiac GTO "Judge" color.
