Power Commander
K&N makes this unit so an owner of a H-D with EFI can remap it and change things like air/fuel mix and spark curves, etc. You connect it to your bike and your personal computer (laptop). I just read you can even use it like a dyno for HP and TQ.
Is there such a thing for our L's?

Autotap
I know my camaro friends have a laptop type device called an Autotap. They say it'll bolt right into my service port. Just before we got around to testing it out on my pickup, their laptop crashed. My Acura Integra Type R friend says it will work with his ECU also, he just has to buy an adapter to tap into his service port.
The port I am referring to is the one located beneath the steering wheel, and kinda to the right.
I was told it was a fine tuning device, and from when it was working on the camaro, it sure looked pretty complicated. I had a crap load of functions and tapped into each and every possible sensor the car had.

im pretty sure that autotap is just a monitoring tool. if i remember right it cannont change anything. i know it sucks
. that would be cool if it could adjust the computer, maybe in the future.

That sounds right...
that would explain their use of the Hypertech Power Programmer.
I'll have to look into this matter a little more...I suppose I could tap into the system and show the tuners how my truck runs?
