Hood Deflectors for Lightnings?

Do the standard F-150 Hood Deflector shields work on our L's? I think this is a very necessary accessory........I would do the Full Bra, but it is considerably more costly, and I think it looks overdone.........

plz advise....

Yes sir - same hood as the standard F-150, so the same bug deflector works.

I just wanted to let you know that Auto Ventshade offers their Bugflector II and Hoodflector in carbon fiber as well as colormatch. I am trying to decide if I want a white Bugflector II or white Hoodflector for my Screw. The Hoodflector is sort of a smaller, lower-profile version of the Bugflector II. I just think that these would look better on a lowered street-truck than the regular smoked version.

I too, am mulling over this issue. I am going to purchase a Lightning this spring/summer, and don't know if I want to break up the lines of the beast with a hood deflector.

I think some guys on this board have opted for the 3M "Stonegard" tape applied to the front 3" of the hood.

Any comments from those who have?

Stonegard

I have stonegard on my Lightning, since April and it has held up great, I also have it on headlights and fog lights.
I tried to set up group purchse this spring but there was little or no commitment on it.
The product is great but make sure you watch the installer and check it over well afterwards, I was very disappointed with the installation/ installer. He told me that things would clear up and after careful examination it turned out to be fingerprints on the 3M.
Also make sure if you do the front bumper the you get it with out the plate cut out, then take your plate off before install.
It is an expensive kit but with 6000 miles on my truck and I have no chips in bumper or hood, and have original head lights and fogs.
