That thing is fugggggg-ly, but...
I think its more than just flashy rims bolted up to a 4-wheeler. Like I said, I'm no quad guy, but I can't think of a quad that comes stock with an aluminum frame (maybe the BBR suped-up ones). It almost looks to me like someone started with the aluminum frame off of a 97-00 CR 250 (look above at the pic of RTKILLA's CRF450R above for an example...although his has the newer generation frame)- see the similarities?
Like I said, I could be wrong, but regardless, IF this is a case of more than just bolt-ons, then you at least gotta respect the time, effort, energy, and creativity someone put into making..."it", even if you don't like the end product. (And trust me, thats tough for me to admit, since three of my least favorite things are "Quads, chrome, and 4-stroke's").

Not that I am, but if I were "a-scared" of 4-strokes, the only reason would be because of the God-aweful noise they make! (haha). And there's really no reason for me to switch from riding 2-strokes, since (so far) they've helped me accomplish all of my motocross goals: (1) win the 250cc New England Amateur Motocross Championship, and (2) get my AMA Pro License; both of which I've done. but...
...if my saying it will make you happy, I will probably at least try one of the new 450's before I put my $$$ down on the trusted and true 250cc...but don't get your hopes up just yet! (haha).

Had to laugh at that one... i own me a '01 cr500 that will have you eating your words my friend!
As soon as I found out they were discontinuing my beloved 2 stroke for the 450 4 stroke I was at the dealer signing my life away!
