Never seen a flame job before on a lightning sure is different. I was thinking about maybe grey racing strips on my black truck but im not sure how it would look. What rims are those on your truck i see that they are chrome but are they the chrome stock rims i have them on my truck but your rims dont look like them. Do you have a pic of the truck from the side so we can see those rims?
Thanks

From what I know the supra motors are pretty strong. I'm pretty sure there's allot of buys that run 700+ HP on a stock block and crank in those cars.
As far as durability goes, anything with a poweradder is going to decrease the life allot faster. Most turbo's are getting better but they used to go out on cars all the time after 40 to 50K miles on them.
Its going to be hard to find a turbo supra that hasn't been beat to chit since thats what those cars where made for! And anyone you find with low miles is going to be some bucks. As far as mods go, you can make those cars real fast with a low buget. My buddies supra runs low 12's high 11's and he's only got about 2 to 3 grand into performance mods.

Having been part of the import scene the last 3 years, I can tell you that all import drivers look up to the TT Supra as their GOD!!!
It is the king of all Japanese cars, not including the Nissan Skyline.........Like the others said, good luck finding one that hasn't been abused.........and if you do find one, be ready to pay top dollar..........I saw a '97 TT Supra, 15th Anniversary edition with 20K miles or so, listed for $37,500...........it was black, stock, and sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!!!!
You can expect to may in the mid to upper 20's for '93's to '96's, depending on mileage....97's and 98's are more expensive.
Stock 320 HP to the crank..........with a relatively minor investment, you can pump out bet. 500-650 to the rear wheels...........which is not bad at all...that thing'll fly...........street legal 10 second cars in many applications have been seen....check out this link for some sweet *** videos involving Supras, kicking some major impressive *** (Stangs, TA's, SS's, etc.):

Hello, I have a buddie that has a 94 that is capable of runing mid 10's... He got rid of the twin turbos and now he has one big turbo. He doesn't have a cage in the car so the track officials will not allow him to make a full pass. A few weeks ago he went 11.78@ 81 mph. Go to www.kcsr.org and go to the chat section. Call attn to screenname 2DVS4U and he'll help you out. KCSR.org is our local street racing site in Kansas City. We have about 5 11 sec. Supras and they are Awesome!! Good Luck-Neil
My rims are 20in chrome AFX (not sure of model name).....i'll post a pic as soon as i get one scanned....no, they are not the stock L rims....As for the supra deal...being the import car god is what i've heard also...there is a place in Tampa called Brandon Motorsports that buys them from all over the country and ask low (23-24) twienties for them...all 94-96......i think it would be a sweet all around car.....thats the most attractive part....500hp for 3 grand!......not bad.....in your opinions is it better to start w/ a stock non-turbo and add a big aftermarket one, or start w/ a TT supra??.....

I would start with a TT if I were buying one. It's easier to build the motor up when it already has the whole system than starting from scratch.

the only thing though is that the non-turbo ones (i think) will be A) cheaper initially and B) easier to find not beaten up like crazy
Basically what everybody has said is true. The stock motors are good for 700-800 hp anything over that and you'll need major work. It only takes a couple of thousand dollars to get the into the 11's
I wouldn't waste my time with a NA Supra. The time and money it takes to get them to be as relialble and fast at the TT versions is too much. You would need to replace the brakes, tranny, and rear to be up to the TT models.
93-96 come with the OBD1 computers. 97-98 come with the OBD II's taillights and headlights are a little different and oil changes are easier.
I find the Supra very comfortable....especially when I'm 6'1" I wasn't as comfortable in my friends 300z and Rx7.
Once you BPU the Supra...put in the TRD brakes lines and if you want some handling to go with that new power...get the Tein 24way adjustable coilovers.

Have 2K red L & 95 rd NA Supra
Most of comments about Supras are right on the mark. However, it's possible to find a TT that's not beat just as it's possible to find a L that's not. Do a car fax check AND run VIN through any Toyota dealer's serice dept to find out what warranty repairs & service history (if done at any dealer) Although it's no guarantee, a stock TT from 35-40 plus owner would probably be better than a kid's car. Have Racing Hart 18 M5's, Bomex front bumper with Piaa 510's (F& F movie front) & Stillen side skirts. Stock engine. Very durable & reliable if well taken care of. Gas mileage on TT won't be more than 2-3 mpg better than L. Good luck!
