Good Ford Mechanics!
Please post all of the good experiences that you had with ford mechanics.
With all the recent slam fests on the bad ones, a number of people stepped up and said their mechanic was the best, but didn't say who/where, they just that they were great.
We've ALL had bad experiences at the dealer, I know! DO NOT POST BAD EXPERIENCES HERE! I hope all members will let us know who the good guys/dealerships are, so we can all benefit.

My 00 went in for the new I/C last week. First time back to the dealer since new. Great experience. Best domestic dealer service I have had. Suburban Ford, Sandy Oregon. Left all mods on the truck with zero problems.

here is a copy of the letter i recently sent to the gm at the dealership that worked on my truck. you will be able to tell how happy i was with the service.

I recently had a problem with my 2000 Lightning, which required a new inner cooler be installed. I called and talked to Terry in the service department and made an appointment to bring my truck in. I also wanted the suspension on the truck checked out because it was squeaking under tight turns, and was told that this would be looked at too. I dropped the truck off after hours on a Thursday night, and had expected to have my truck back the following Tuesday. I received a call that Friday at 4:00 pm from John , saying that my truck was done. I was pleasantly surprised.
When I picked up the truck I was told that while the truck was in the shop they also performed a recall on my wiper motor cover. I talked to Bobby the mechanic that worked on my truck, and he explained everything that was performed on the truck. I would just like to let you know how satisfied and happy I was with the service that I received at your dealership. I would also like to that, Terry, John, and Bobby for their excellent customer service. I have never had such a pleasant trip to a dealership for service on any vehicle.
Once again thanks for the great service, and please give a copy of this to Terry, John, and Bobby, so they will know how much I appreciate the job they did and the attention they gave to me.

NO PROBLEMS HERE
I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH MY DEALER EVEN WITH ALL THE MODS HE JUST LIKES ME TO ATLEAST TAKE OFF THE NITROS BEFORE I BRING IT IN. MAKE IT ALTEAST LOOK STOCK WHEN I BRING IT IN. NO PROBLEMS AT TOMMIE VAUGHN FORD HOUSTON, TEXAS!!!!!
