You are all wrong. There is no color which would look bad on this truck...

Color is besides the point. They should discontinue production, not add more colors.

OK, so what's the story here. I can go over to the local Ford dealer and see two vehicles that have a 'True Blue' paint. This is the paint color listed on the invoice. Is this the same 'True Blue' we'll see on the 02 L's? If so, it's just like all the other color options for the L, you can get the same color on other Ford trucks. I don't recall reading that 'True Blue' will be for L's only. Guess my point is that there is no need to 'wait until they arrive at the dealer' to make up your mind on how it will look. Course, I could be wrong. Anyone know more about this???

it's the same color but because its not on a lightning, its crap! LOL
I went to the ford dealership and saw supercrews, mustangs and explorers all in "true blue" but I guess because there are no true blue lightnings yet, everyone is stuck with their photoshop jobs .
If it's not lightning, its crap! Oh wait, I don't have a lightning, LOL.

merrrrr

i don't like the true blue color on anything. If blue was to be used, i would have like to see either island blue, or that blue oval blue they were using on the newer rangers. Yellow should have been the new color....although you might blend in with dodge's lineup. That green paint hanging on the mustangs is sharp too.

I'd Order One But...

I'd have to change my handle to 'BlueLightSpecial'. Sounds a little too K-Mart for me!

I think a Midnight metallic blue would have been very nice on these trucks.
I really like my Black "L", but a really dark blue, with a hint of metallic, would be sweet too..!

Well, I still dont get the point. So blue is ordinary.....as opposed to what?.... White???? Red????? Black????? Silver ??????

Its just a new color. The lightning deserved a new color, whatever color that might be...

Convince me that blue is more ordinary than any of the colors already available..

Jeff, don't worry I'm in your boat. Some people just think they are the most important customer in the world and whatever color they say should be Ford's new color, and of course anything other then the color they want is the worlds ugliest color ever.

Thumbs up

I think that the color looks good. Just imagine it with a couple coats of zaino and the tires with amourall and parked in the sun.

Use your imagination until we get good pics.

just my .02 cents

Very true. Personally I would like a yellow L.

Wouldn't mind this green either:

Back in the summer my dealer had a Silver, white,& red parked next to each other. I walked back & forth for 30mins even returning to the dealership with the GF to decide color. They all looked awesome to me..I'm not convinced that one color looks better then another IMOP. We couldn't decide so I came back & ordered the 02.. The blue means noting to me, I just want to break it in so I can feel the SC kick in.
