Oil in intake tube & T

I do know the reason for the oil being there & the fix according to our board members. I would like to hear from anyone who may have gone to their dealer tech. with this oily problem & hear what Ford did or didn't do to resolve this problem. Or maybe they didn't see this as something needing to be corrected. Why should we have to come up with a fix? If we don't fix this, what kind of long term affects could we be looking at?

You think Ford should fix it??? Baaahahahaha...no thats humor!!!

It took Ford almost two years to recognize that the I/C needed to be dealt with.

Best of luck to ya!!!!

you never know, if the engine has excessive blow-by then there could be a fix. If not, then yes, it would be said to be normal. You ought to see what kind of oily residue is in the intake manifold of a SOCH explorer when you go to do the timing chain tensioner recall....

ps not all dealerships are hard to get along with
