Ext. Warr. after buying a vehicle

Anybody bought one online or someother way instead of through
the dealer at the time of sale?
How did it go? Did you find a better deal?

Extended warranty

I believe you can purchase extended warranty from any dealer up until time/mileage runs out on original. Anyone feel free to correct me if i'm wrong. Wouldnot get anything other than ford's warranty--no aftermarket companies. BIG MARKUP IN THESE1 CAN NEGOTIATE ABOUT 40% DISCOUNT. Big help if you sell your own vehicle, but not if you trade. Good luck

When I bought my extended warranty, I thought they were all the same price. Then other guys posted how much they paid, and most were more than I paid. I don't know if it's cheaper online or not, but I would definitely call around to other Ford dealers to price shop. You have until the 3 year/36,000 mi warranty expires to buy an extended plan; however, the price of the plan may go up if you wait to buy.
