adding a sub to the stock system

Is there an adapter to add rca's to the stock head unit in a 2001 L ?

I know for my 99 Camaro a company called PAC made a plug in called a PAC OEM1 that was pluged between the headunit and harness and added 2 sets of rca's

Does any one know if they make one for the Lightning.

Thanks

All you need to do is buy a dashboard gain control with rca out,,, attach the control to your radio by slpicing the right rear and left rear wires to the right wires on the gaine, then just place the gain anywhere you want,, you can route rca cables that way and it will sound great,,, or you can just route speaker wire from your speakers directly to your amp ,, but thats only if your amp has a connection for them ( many dont have one ) either way as long as your amp has a built in cross over,, and or your radio has one, you should be more then fine

They are called (Line Output Converters). If you dont want to splice into the factory wires, you can buy a harness that plugs in, but I believe this plug in harness still has only high level output. So then just splice into the new harness wires, that way you could always go back to stock.
