Talking New Best - THANKS JL

A big thank you to Johnny Lightning for my new best 11.69 @ 115.14 I want to also thank DL for all his pit work --- you were a huge help!!!! Thanks to Sal for combining his fast air setup with my current JL ram air it really worked great! My second run was a 11.76 @ 114.76 after which I wanted to do some hot laps but I was waved to the track official and told to revisit the tech line I asked if I put on my stock f1's could I run again and they said sure -- I didn't do very well 14.5 @ 110

JL,

I wouldn't be surprised to see you pass me before years end

Don,

You would embarrass me on F1's Believe it or not I tried to ease on to the throttle but when I got to full throttle it seemed to spin a little

Congrats on the new best Jim, right after you left somebody blew up so i sat around until like 3:30 to get another run in. Managed to back up my 12.40 run though.

I saw your street tire run but didn't recognize the truck, I was like "man that guy needs to lift out of the throttle some, he's just spinning down the whole track" and then I saw the MPH pop up 110!

later,
chris

P.S. I need a bigger alarm clock

Thanks Johnny!!

Well we had 2 passes in here at KCIR in Kansas City Mo today then Mother Nature decided to bless us with rain. We had 3 JL tuned trucks racing there all three with JL tuned Diablo Chips and 2 WIth the JL Ram Air and Filter systems. Gary who also has a 01 White Lightning went 13.6 with the JL chip and Ram Air. Another guy can't remember his name went 13.7's with the JL Chip and Ram Air. Then I went First pass was 13.44 @103 and a 13.51 @ 103 then the rains came right as I was Doing a burnout so I was bummed. I only have a JL chip thats basically it no pulley or ram air just straight pipes a K&N panel airfilter, and Sonnax Line Pressure Valve and Tricumulator Accumulator spring set(stolen out of my Diesel Tranny)I just had Johnny Reflash my old Powerstroke Chip to a Lightning program and look out Instant traction loss! The Et Streets hooked ok still have 2.0 short times second gear it barks the tires pretty well but all in all I am very Happy! JL thanks for doing the chip! Were working on the Pulley, super cooler, Ram Air, and Air filter money right now hopefully after the New Year! See our smiles below!
