How good are the stock rims we drive on?? are they cast or forged aluminum?? heres why.... My Friend just bought a Saleen 281SC last month $45k and some change,driving down the road last Thursday he just pulled 4th gear(needless to say he was going alittle faster than 55) when the right back rim exploded sending him and my other friend out of control and they broad sided and sheared off a telephone pole with the rear axle hitting first. 12 inches more to the front and I dont think either one would be here.The car basically is now in almost two pieces,BUT THEY WALKED AWAY... How could this happen with these machines?? do they cheapen these things that much?? 1 rim cost him his car and almost his life.REALITY of life and how fragile it is can come to a quik end. BECAREFUL EVERYBODY it happens fast,WE ARE NOT IMMUNE
