hey, CornerCarver--------

you 're going to want to change your sig I got witnesses--Rusty will 'testify'--he saw it. I ran a 12.851@106.58 --let's see, ummmmm. How much quicker is that than your last run? Let's see--.001 sec. quicker--oh the ignominy!

Oh, wait a minute--that was my 3rd pass of the night(cablebandit was runnin' on my left with his camcorder rollin'--got my burnout--then he handed me my buttocks with a 12.667@113.47(turbo/WS6). It was my 5th pass I really want to post--12.791@106.59(51 degrees)--1.910-60'

Gimme a call Monday--LOL

Dan

Soooooo cool! Thanks Jerry. You just couldn't sand-bag and let me 'win' one, could ya ? You were 'losen' 'til just before the 1,000' mark, and then it was all over but the shouttin'(old Southern sayin')

Guys, Jerry may be a GM afficianado but he's a good friend of our Lightning community--he(and some of his buddies) helped me learn(still need to know more, much more) how to launch these 'heifers', and he posted my first ever 12 sec pass a few weeks ago. Jerry, you are one high-tech, quick-shiftin', t-shirt wearin'(low 50 degree temps), turbo-installin', redneck friend--thanks.

Btw, he ran a 12.41xx before I went home.

Dan

Dan I noticed your mph has come up some hasnt it? That means more hp is being made. I bet you can run 12.6 when we go to steele Ala. or maybe even at SDR if you were the first one to run behind the slick tired cars. Traction....or lack of, is killing us both. Hopefully I'll have a real clutch soon and can finally turn some decent times for my combo. I had a blast racing you. Too bad i missed your .79 run.

Guys Dan is a blast to hang out with at the track. Very fast for our track (no track prep/traction) and never an arrogant attitude.
He's always helpful and acts like a little kid with a new toy when he runs a good time Wish everyone could be so much fun to run against.....win or lose.

Sandbag......NEVER! Like you, I had my foot thru the floorboard to the radiator!

hey guys, yes i witnessed all of dans runs last night congrats dan!!!! by the way i had a best last night too a 12.860 @ 106.01 mph! with a 1.87 60' on the nitto's. the track really fell off after the last run u made the dew fell early. but i have only been to jackson once but my buddies go all the time (actually going tonite too) but i had to work late and didnt make it 1 of my buddies has a 150 shot on a zo6 vette that already went 12.47 bone stock to try that viper but i dont think he will suceed! anway my buddies say that it is slightly downhill and then when u cross the line i remember u go uphill.

Dan we gonna go try to show em one night what a couple of sdr lightnings will do. j/k.
