Question Lakewood traction bars

Has anyone tried these:

Lakewood Heavy-Duty Universal Traction Bars
620-22026 Yellow, 30'' Long $ 65.99

See Jegs or Summit for details they both carry them.

If you have, how close to the front eye bolt does the snubber hit.

Won't fit a Lightning without serious modifications.

Those were the starting point of the Truck-Traks. I had a set left over from a V-8 Pinto I built years ago. All I used from them was the hardware for the prototype Truck-Traks. I enventually pulled the 3/8" fine threads off of the U-bolts.

That's why I use 1/2" hardware on the Truck-Traks .

Thanks for the info. I'll continue to search, until I will eventually decide to spend the required amount on your bars.

I have them in stock, ready to supply you with traction. Don't search too long. My bars cost less than two F-1's, which have tobe replaced regularly on our trucks.

Mine lasted 22,000 mi. I guess that is a long time for most Lightning owners.
