Hope this isn't old news, but while thumbing thru the Feb 2002 issue of this (GREAT!) mag at the local library, guess what vehicle was the focus of a three page article in the "Future Collectibles" section?

The article metioned the Gen I, but then did a developmental perspective on the Gen IIs. Of course, they commented on the power and acceleration of the Lightning, but they also recognized it as the "best-handling full-size pickup ever built."

They concluded that as a performance vehicle, combined with it's exclusive looks and its low production numbers, the Lightning was definitely a potential collector vehicle!
