Winter Driving

I'm sure all our friend down south will be driving their's all winter!

Even though I live in Canada, my area gets about 1 1/2' of snowfall all winter. I know that's contrary to everything you've heard about Canada, but it's true. Our true enemy here is road salt. If the roads are dry, and snow free I intend to drive it as much as possible. Still get a kick outta that 'Winter Driving' warning label on the driver's side door jamb!

This is the time of year we really start running in Florida. The air is cooling off and the times are getting better. Come on down and join us. RobG stopped in last Feb for some mid-winter fun.

Drive it rain or shine, all year long. I've had it for 17 months, and have put 38,000 miles on it. I've even driven it in the snow in the local mountains. It's a little tricky my vehicle of choice up there is a 4wd Durango.

We drive ours all winter long. We do get snow, but they do not use any salt here, so it isn't a problem. We just want to get more aggressive tires for the winter. I do have lead weights that I can use in the bed.

I bought it as a daily driver, and that is exactly what she it.

Since we don't get much more than a few rainy days here, it gets driven all year. We're just now starting to get better temps for those lower ET's.

Having lived most of my life in parts of the country where it rains/snows/sleets/etc., it cracks me up when the 'meteorologists' here in SoCal call for 'storm watches' when we're going to get a few tenths of rain....only problem is the majority of people here can't drive in the rain, it's scary

I'll be driving mine, with the crappy looking 16' wheels and snow tires. Man I hate winter.
