I am thinking about purchasing a 2-3# lower blower pulley and was wondering what kind of ET reduction should I expect?

Not nearly as much as from a 5-6 pounder . Seriouslly, though, the JL 3# was my first mod, and definately a good one! No track #'s yet, but it felt like a few tenths. If your interested, I'm upgrading to the 5#, so I'll be selling my 3#.

Dang...they make a 5 lb pulley now? Whatever happened to the "overspinning" the blower fears?

I think that fear will show up again, given time.

Wink

How 'bout using the S-E-A-R-C-H feature...J/K!

I gained approx. 2 tenths and 2 mph going from stock to a 2#. I gained approx. 3 tenths and over 3 mph going from the 2# to a 4# (although in cooler air).

Went from 13.23 to 12.85 with a 3lb and a chip reburn in warmer weather. I think I coulda dropped another .1-.2 if I would have stayed to run at night.

I just did a 2lb lower and I was concerned about the over spinning.
And theres 4,5,6 lb lower pulley's that can be matter to 2lb uppers, a feel sorry for few blowers out there.

HANKFAN: So when are you coming down to Nashville? I figured you would've showed up the day after I got the car. I'm gonna be meeting up with your cuz and some other guys later on this week. This may be the week I finally do some WOT runs. We will see. Later!

8(stock) + 2(upper) + 6(lower) = 16lbs

What did JDM have, wasn't it like 17-18. 16 is pushing it a little huh RTKILLA

Mine went 13.5 @ 102 with a chip and K&N panel filter in 90 deg. heat. (800 miles on her then). After JDM 2# lower and 1# upper with a chip reburn it went 12.9 @ 106 in 80 deg. weather(3000 miles). If I could get some of that 40 deg. weather you northern guys are gettin', I could run 12.5's to 12.6's Im sure!Ive been told that a 2# pulley will take about 2 tenths off your 1/4 times. Ive seen a little better than that with mine. I guess it would be safe to say a tenth for every pound of boost?
