Talking Another fun weekend!

Well, it was the finaly autocross for the WSCC group and low-and-behold, two other Lightnings came! w00t! Finally! Heheheh.

I unfortunately, didn't carry on my second-place tradition, I came in fourth this weekend. It was a really, really tight course which gave me some tough competition from a 2001 WRX and a fox-body SM-class mustang.

I'm #112, Andy is #505 and Kim is er, Silver. :) Here's some pics and the movies:

Kim beat me by .3's of a second, but he was in a different class...Guess all that Bondurant training paid off. ;)

Looks like I missed another one ! Looks like fun, but I used my sunday to install my keypad and new door handle. Only took a month and a half Your times seem to suggest that your "new" tires are hurtin

Daniel

I didn't take my camera this time, but next time I'll have my buddies there to film and race. Too bad they were home doing more mods to their cars.

If you happen to come across anybody or sites with more pics or mpegs of me running the course...let me know

Kim - The crowd went nuts when you smoked em thru the first half of the course.

See you guys there next year.

I had a blast...it was funny to see Kim smoke that first half of the course his first run...hehehe...ruined my rep as being the smokiest vehicle.

I can't wait for next season myself too... I'll finally have some nice suspension stuff done and some race tires, should be interesting to see how things change!

Bruce -- heh, actually, the pavemento n this course is really nice to tires, it was Englishtown that killed me. I won't race there again without race tires...pavement is WAY to rough.

Daniel, did you run the Truck-Traks on the Autocross? Or did you remove them.

If you did, how did they do? That is a possibility that i hadn't really considered.

I left the Truck - Tracs on for the event. I was running a shorter snubber. I didn't feel any wheel hop when I punched it. It felt good on the course.

Daniel would have a better ideal how the Tracs performed since he's the regular at these events.

Andy,

did you use the short Lakewood snubber? I think it's about 1 3/4" tall?

I'm currently using the Energy Suspension 9.9228G snubbers. They are 7/8" tall.
