Talking Field Test Of 18 Volt Cordless 1/2" Impact

Well, I had my new Milwaukee 1/2" drive cordless impact at the track Saturday. Its 18 volt and makes over 200 ft lbs of torque. It removed all lug nuts and replaced them and did not need additional tightening, although I checked. The model number is 9079-22 Milwaukee 18 vt impact and comes with two good batteries and a 1 hr quick charger. I let everybody who wanted use it and there were many and when I removed my slicks I was still on the first battery. This tool is a real winner! It gets a NOEL 5-STAR Review. All Milwaukee tools carry a one year warranty. Cost here in Houston, I found at $367+tax equaling $397.27. Cost on line where I bought it $299.99 plus 5.77 shipping. Go to www.tools-plus.com. This is an individually owned and older company with a really good reputation. Mine was in stock and took five days. You need your own 1/2 drive socket. I suggest a deep socket. Choose FEDEX GROUND shipping. It's somewhat faster than UPS GROUND and cost the same. Their phone number is 1-800-222-6133. I am not related to this company in any way. It is in Connecticut.
