The weight will vary from truck to truck, but the average Gen 1 weighs 4500 lbs and the average Gen 2 weighs 4700lbs, without drivers.
Honestly, asking where the Gen 2 "picked up" 200 lbs is really not a fair question. The two trucks have nothing in common, so this question is really no different than comparing a Gen 2 to a Dodge or GM truck.

These are just a guess on my part.
the gen 2 have a heavier rear axle, the seats are heavier,the 18" wheels and tires are heavier, and also to make the cab roomier Ford had to add some weight, look how much longer the doors are.
I think all these factors add up to the extra 200 lbs.
