I've got a chip that's tuned for my mods plus a 2# lower pulley. Will this work well with a metco upper pulley instead? Metco says it gives 2lbs of boost. Many here have said it is only 1lb.

I guess this was a suck-axx post or something. Well, it doesn't matter. I installed the pulley with the PSP 4-way chip and everything seems fine. Approximately 12lbs of boost total. (stock guage) Maybe a little less. I got about a 2lb increase. The diablosport chip I had installed prior to the switch out seemed to handle the pulley OK, also. No detonation I mean. (It was not a JL chip.) I like the PSP chip better though. Spun the tires all the way through 1-2 shift before I let off the accelerator. Secret recipe indeed!
I can't wait to install my Lower pulley now. I guess I have to though. It's been 5 weeks and still no tool from JDM. I wonder which will come first: the pulley puller/installer or the Factory Tech valve-body I've been waiting for nearly as long.

 

I do suggest a reburn if you are going to step up from 2 to 4 lbs. If you can let me know the file names off the chip, I can look at the programs and see what needs to be changed.

And you didn't get the valve body yet??!

 

Sal, when I get the lower pulley installed, I'll install the stock size upper until I can get my Diablosport reburned for both pulleys as a spare. I'll be sending the four way back to you for an upgrade then. The Diablosport seemed to handle the new pulley OK; but, I don't want to take any unnecessary chances, since it's not programmed for the extra boost.

And nope, No valve body yet.
