lets all call Mickey Thompson

I talked to M/T the other day and they told me they are working on develping a 28" ET Street tire for a 16" rim. They told me to look for them next summer.
I think we should all pick up the phone and call them, the more calls they get maybee they will get off their *** and build them earlier.

east coast # (330) 928-9092
west coast # (909) 587-0101

Just called and I think I talked to a Mark? He said they are having a develop meeting next week and will be discussing this...
Everyone needs to call in.
We need a 28/29" x11.5x16 et streets
Those 16" wheels are sooo much cheaper and easier than custom 15" wheels.

wouldn't it be best to ask for a Et Drag that fits the 16" wheel?

I called the east coast office and talked with some guy . he said they have to be able to sell at least a 1000 tires to make them . i told him that i didnt think 500 sets would be that difficult to sell considering that there are like 15000 lightnings around . After i told him guys were buying custom made 15inch wheels for 300 a piece just to run 28 inch et streets he seemed a bit more interested . come on lets all call and bug them

group buy time???

what about a group buy . that way they would have an idea of the interest, and maybe a better price.
try to get to build an 17 or 18 in one if thakes only 100. lots of wheels for them then.

why would you want a 17 or 18 inch? that means less side wall . we want more not less . we need a 28 x11.5 16 that way we dont need to spend big bucks for custom wheels and shave our calipers.

!! FOR THE SERIOUS DRAG RACER !!

...converting over to rear drum brakes from a F-150 will also allow the choice of ANY 15 inch wheel you want...even some BOGART's, or WELDS etc....
