Question Anyone out there with a G-Tech

Anyone out there using a G-Tech? If so, what are you entering for the weight of the vehicle? Also, how accurate have you found it to be for measuring HP and 1/4 mile times?

My local strip already closed for the season

Thumbs up

I have one.I used it at Cecil last week and I couldn't believe how accurate it was.My first run it said 12.69.I got my time slip and it said 12.66.The next run it said 12.73 and I went 12.71.The farthest it was off was on the last run out of 6.It said 12.53 and I went 12.57.The MPH is always about 4 to 5 higher but the 1/4 mile is right on.As for weight,I haven't done any HP tests tet so I don't know.

Just about every auto magazine has a full page ad in it.Everyone sells them for msrp and has for the last 3 years.$139.95
They are supposed to be no more than a tenth off, I find that to be true for the most part, but It is really great for measuring added on parts and performance enchancements by comparing your baseline times( 1/4 mile or 0-60) before and after. This gives you proof of the performance upgrade!!And thats what I'm talkin about !!
