DAN!!!! man u shoulda stayed a little longer my next pass i tried to heat my tires up alot more and it worked i ran a 13.03 then i tried one more time and i did it a little longer this time and left the light at 1400 rpms with minimal tire spin and i did what i have been waiting for here is my runwith the worst r/t of the night. i cut low to mid .5's all night long with the exception of a .486 red light.

after this run i let my friend drive it that has only drove the truck like once and i told him exactly what to do and he went 12.98 @ 105.6. o ya temp was like 54 degrees or there about. and i enjoyed seeing and meeting all of the lightning owners there i had a blast. thanks everyone!

 

oh my god! dan look at what number post my last one was 101. u said u got your first 12 at your 1000 th right man if i was just 1 less it would have been really cool! u shoulda seen my face i wont sleep for 2 nights. tomorrow at work ill probably fall asleep on the tractor and run over all the onions. but o well maybe ill live.

12.92 must be the magic number. My first 12 second pass was a 12.92, and I've noticed that quite a few others were as well.

I knew you'd do IT! Just wish it'd happened when we were runnin' side-by-side. Wish I had stayed with you guys but mine was runnin' slower and slower(?) and momma get's a little antsy after 10pm.

It definitely was a blast last nite. Wish some of the other GA. guys could have made it although, I don't know where we'd a put them---big turnout--a BOP event was held here FRI-all day(and again today), so the lanes were full(street cars). Btw, GA owners(South Carolina & Alabama too)--next Fri is the last TnT this year--come on down.

We had Rusty(the 12 second man), his friend Clint(white 94 Gen 1), Dale(95 Gen 1), Sam(silver 01-Alabama), and Erin(?)(silver 00--VP of METCO-South Carolina-ran a 12,4xx). Forgive me guys if I left anybody out.

Lots'a bench racin' and some great times--especially Rusty! Good guy and his L sounds sweet---he was to my left(staging lanes)--brappin' his full Bassani exhaust into my left ear while I had "The Del McCoury" bluegrass band whalin' from my CD player. We rolled on down to the turn-off-I cut the CD down and we rolled into the water box and HAD SOME FUN!
