whitetoast11,

Don't waste your money. Bought one for my '97 Eddie Bauer Expy and in two tanks of gas noticed absolutely no performance increase and my fuel mileage actually decreased by a few tenths (which I might be able to chalk up to different types of driving - but at best I'd say no mileage increase). Besides, the thing was a crappy piece of shiny tin that someone with a decent pair of tin snips could make themselves if they really wanted to. Bought mine from RV Performance and returned it within thirty days to get my "money back guarantee" honored and it took them six months and the threat of an attorney before I saw a credit on my credit card. The Tornado sucks and RV Performance is even worse.

Just my $.02,

Dan

seen the info mertial on it the other day...
according to the dyno.... It gets ya 10 to 20 more HP...

If the thing is legit.... A bit High for a peice of metal ya install in the air intake....

I would have to see one and feel one installed before I spent the money on one.....

Thumbs down Bahhahahaha

This thing is pure snake oil. Put it in the category with electric superchargers and Teflon oil treatments (if anyone argues about these I'll ignore them).

I saw an infomercial for it the other night and it was hilarious. It's almost as good as the infomerical where they drain the oil and put sand and water into the running engine.

Buyer Beware!

Yea save you money. If you want an intake system buy one from either Jim, JL or Sal. Or just get a panel filter and run a piece of dryer ducting into the airbox.

351stang - I saw a video post somewhere of some electric S/C that was quite powerfull, whether or not it worked in auto's , but it did move some air forcefully.

thanks for sending the link to the page,, after seeing the page i'm convinced that the tornonado fuel management system is the missing blade attachment to my food processer at home,,, not only does it increase gas mileage,, but it also slices and dices,, and i've been looking for that food processer attachment for weeks,,, i needed it to slice tomatos for my raemen noodle recipe weeks ago,

Like everyone else said, don't waste your money. A buddy of mine had one on his '99 Lariat for about a month. All it did was make some kind of whistling sound that bugged the ***** out of any and all dogs within 100 miles. He saw no gain in HP or mileage.

It 'might' 'work' on a carburated vehicle--I doubt it. It will definitely not 'work' on a fuel injected, supercharged Lightning!
