Smoke From Tailpipe?
After we had our new 2001 motor put in, I knowticed it did that too for a while. Other 2k1 owners have mentenioned this a few times. I guess this is normal with the band-aided pistons...
heard it's normal
i know it's not cold in texas so our climates are different. I've been told by serveral techs that a little of smoke is normal upon startup and thats it's not smoke, it's steam from the humidity and condinsation burning off from in the exhaust. If it's a puff of thick white or bluish smoke, that's another story......
Tim C.-Hey buddy, you decide to join the fiasco? LOL! Its me....Rodney down the street. You know the guy who had THE ONLY BLACK 01 L IN TOWN!! Atleast till you come along! LOL!
The smoke from your exhaust is normal. The majority of them do it. Mine did it from day one. It has just stopped at about the 3000 mile mark. Give me a ring sometime. We need to cruise around town and terrorize some chevy's!
Went to Hallsville this past sunday and went 12.9 @ 106!!
Did it while spanking a new SS Z28! Ah...life is good.
