I think that this are the ones he's using but he has the 10" version and the ones on the pictures are 12" and from what I have read he really likes them, but I guess he is the only one who can say if they are really louder than the JL's, right RTkilla?

Mine are the dual voice coil ID's that are I belive 8 ohms total, but I have them bridged down to about 2.5 ohms.

I've had 12's in my truck and they where OK, then I had 3 10JL's WO's and then I went with the W3's. For some reason in my area all the shop say that can't the W6's even though I feel there better then the W3's. I had 6 12W6's in my last car that there where nice!

As for the ID's, I really feel that they are louder and MUCH tighter then the W3's ever where. I'm only putting about 700 to 800 watts to them, but there loud. I have a ZX500 amp that I'm in the process of getting repaired with pheonix gold so I'm going to install that pretty soon once I get it fixed for good. That should put about 1200 watts to them when I'm done. I'm even thinking about getting another 10 for the hell of it. The ID's can also go in a much smaller box then the JL's can. I really didn't think they would out perform the JL's but the guy was right, they DO! My ID's are just like those in the picture above but there a teal color. It might be the same woofer though. I would have to get my manual and look it up cause I really don't remember.

I think I paid around 160 bucks a piece for them too! I kinda got a deal on them so they may cost more in other places, but the nets got some good deal on them also.

The only picture of my setup is with the JL's but I'll post it anyway for you.
