Okay, I have been looking at these things for like a year, before i even got the L. I might finally be getting one. I was wondering how diffifcult they were to install. I also thought I read something about the brake light not being on the spoiler anymore??? I hope that is not true. Did anyone who orderd them have them unpainted, or should i take the risk of having it shipped from California to Michigan without the paint being chiped?

 

I couldn't tell you about the install since Innovation Industries did the install for me, but as far as the 3rd brake light, they told me that they stopped making it that way since there were having all sorts of problems with them falling out and such. They did say they may still be able to order it that way, but no guarantees...

i ordered mine last monday and hopefully will be getting it tomorrow. to my knowledge, the spoiler still has the third brake light on it. but now you got me wondering if it will come with the light or not .It better or I will be pissed . If i get it tomorrow i will take pics

 

when I ordered mine, I to assumed that it would have the 3rd brake light, and was disappointed when it didn't. However, now that I have lived with it for a few weeks, am glad that it is not there, and actually think that it looks better without it...

there is no spot for it, it's very smooth. I would think that they would cut it in after the fact, but I'm not a fiberglass expert...

no, i called today and the guy said that his boss will call me when they get the shipment. first they said monday, then they said wed, then they ssid thursday. Still not here. They said that Innovations factory was backed up or something so I decided to call them but they 800 number one their web page was to the main dealer, not the factory. so if its not here tomorrow, ill probably cancel my order from the dealer i got it from and get it somewhere else

 

That is too bad. Most places I have dealed with, not for anything that expeniseve, have been here in about half of the time they said it would be. The longest thing was my Wet Okoles, took less than 2 weeks, they said 4.

nope, but i kinda like without the brake light now.

 

Do you have a fresh pic to post, of the rear, showing the spoiler without the third brake light? I'm ordering one and don't want the light anyway.
