Thumbs up Throttle Body

I have installed my new throttle body noticed some better throttle response. i started up the truck without plugging in the TPS and my service engine light came on how can i reset this?

reconnect your wiring

drive it around a little and let the truck cycle through a little (turning truck on and off)

if that doesn't work disconnect the battery for 5 min.

Disconnect the battery first and let it sit a few minutes and that will get rid of the code causing the engine light to come on.

You will not need to worry about turning key off and on.

Or you can go and buy a ODB II code reader from a company like Actron.... I picked one up the other day from them and I love it. Not only can you clear the codes, but you can determine which code it is and what it means... I frequently get code 420 which is something about the O2 level is below the threshhold....
