A couple of videos on the slicks

Here is a half track run with a zoom on the tires during launch

it was a solo run, so you can here the truck pretty good.

very nice runs, question though

You ran great!, I hate to ask, but what did that stang run in the second vid, you hit 12's so he was moving pretty good.

Beefcake are you takeing you front sway bar off when you race.

You'll gain allot more 60 foot with that off next time!! ALLOT

sway bar was pulled bout 2 weeks after i got the truck,

i don't think the 60 is too bad for the prep that we get at this track,

also, with a 28" tall tire without a stall, your going to lose some there, however, consistency will be better, which is what i need for next year in brackets

I don't know why but for some reason I had in my head that you where only getting 1.89 60 foot. My bad, I see the 1.79's now. That is pretty good.

How many RPM's are you lauching.

I need to get my tranny built up also. I haven't touched that thing yet.

How do you like the shift kit. I'm going to order one pretty soon also.

the 1..79 was launching off idle and mashing it

without a stall you will actually flash the convetor a bit higher without pre loading it. you lose reaction time, but gain e.t.

in bracket racing, i will preload to about 1000 rmps.

preloading i was only getting 1.83's

Yes. The thin side walls wrinkle to help with traction.

Pretty cool, huh?

and yes, that wrinkle is because the tire is biting like crazy!

i've seen funny cars and such wrinkle the tires, but never thought the L would, can't wait till I get one. Great job.
