2002 lightning

I called the SVT hq today to ask them about how to get a 2002 lightning. The guy said they are going to start producing them next week and delivery date should be around early-late january he said. Well i've been told march by some people. Tomorrow me and my dad are going to go put a down payment on a blue one. I'll ask them there when they start producing them too.

When you do, find out and let us know if they're giving you the 2.9% financing on it!!

Wouldn't that be majestic

I saw in one guys sig he already had his build number of the 2001, so that run must be over. I'd believe they're ready to start the 02 run.

We have gone over this many times in previous threads. I will believe there will be 2002 L's in dealerships in January when I SEE them. Maybe 1 or 2 dealers might see them in february, but most will not see them till march. Everyone who owns a new L knows how slowly they are dispersed around the country. Myself, and many others on this board were told for the past 2 years how they will be in dealerships in January. SURE they will.

The deposit should be refundable. I can order one at my local dealer with $500 deposit and I dont have to accept it when it comes if I dont like it for any reason.. the way it should be!
