Angry I hate swirl marks, help me!

Washed my truck for the 3rd time. The swirl makes are just driving my crazy, they werent a problem on my last black truck because I didnt care. BUT THIS IS A LIGHTNING!, it's all I think about, therefore I care if it has swirl marks, or a spec of dirt. How do I get rid of the swirls. I put one coat of wax on today and it didnt seem to help at all. I give up.

You need to clay bar your truck to get rid of all the crap in the paint that came from Ford, the train it shipped on, etc.

Do that, then put several coats of good wax and polish and you won't have swirl marks.

Trust me, I know - mine's black and I was pissed that I bought black until I clay-barred it. It will look better than when you got it from the dealer...

Andrew -

You need some Zaino, man. We've got a guy here in Houston that distributes it. I'll email his name and number to you. Check 'em out...

I'm not sure that its clay baring u have to do. I say, go order some Zaino Z-1, Z-2, and Z-5. Apply the first two first, then go over it with Z-5, it'll work a miracle on your truck.

Wash with Dawn, clay it, wash with Dawn, dry, Z1, THEN Z5, repeat Z5 until swirls are gone (2-3 coats), then Z2.

Z5 it great! It dod miricales on my black '99 Cobra! I just got my restocking of Z5 and Z2 today. Now my GF wants me to do her car!
