Leaning trucks?

Maybe its just my truck but when I have a full tank of gas in her you can really see how much its leaning to the drivers side.

Now I'm sure the fact that I have a 3inch drop kit on the truck will make matters worse but have any of you guys had this problem with your lowered L's. Its really pissing me off lately to see that. How do I fix it, relocate the gas tank maybe .

I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks their truck is leaning... I was looking at my '00 the other day in the parking lot and it looked like it was leaning towards the driver's side. I thought I was just seeing things. I don't remember how much gas was in the truck at the time, but I still have the stock suspension. Anyone else notice their truck leaning a little?

I noticed that mine was leaning toward the driver's side when I put in 2" drop shackles...thought I had done something wrong, but I think the lower it is in back the more pronounced it looks...even had my 4 foot level on it to see how bad it was

OK so who wants to help me design a custom fuel cell to eliminate this problem. With all the gas int he middle it should make it allot better.

my hotchkis lowered 2001 sits almost exactly 1/2" higher on the driver side, just get a tape measure and check yours for yourself.

1/2" doesn't sound like much, but you can see it especially if you are standing behind the truck.

The only good part about this is that when I sit inside the truck, the ride height is just about perfect (I weigh about 185-190). I'm sure that an empty tank vs a full tank will have some effect on this, thats a variable of what another 175lbs (about 22gals x 8lbs per gallon?) all on the driver side.

later

Superfords is right. That was a question that I asked Hotchkins myself. The driver side factory suspension is a tad higher as well, to compensate for the fuel and driver.(every gallon of fuel = 7.25 lbs)
so a full tank should weigh about 180 lbs !
