Has anyone seen any L's on an lots in Southern California ?

Preferably around the 60 and 10 freeways ?

Try Peyton Crammer Ford in Torrance. They had a red one about a week ago.

 

Tuttle-Click off of the 5 has 3 i belive, a white, black and silver one

 

Well i don't know how far out of your way is Cerritos Ford, but i was there yesterday (11/03) and they had a silver one try them out give em a call.

 

i just wanted to bring this thread back...


i have been calling around so cal and about half of the dealers i have spoken to have stated "absolutely positively no X-Plan on SVT autos" hmmm i thought to myself and hung up. they have no Lightnings in stock anyway.

anyone hear or see of any L here in cali???

I had trouble finding a white L in southern CA also. I went to the ford web site looked up every SVT dealer, I called every dealer I could, to find only 2. Had to drive to get it.

 

Also check out: http://www.dealerconnection.com You will be able to see the entire inventory of most dealers. You can then get colors, VIN #'s etc.

Chino Hills Ford had like 5 or 6 of them on the lot when I got mine..

Was only a month and a half or so ago. Check them out.

In response to this post I stopped by my friends at Barber Ford to see whether they had any more '01s, or would be getting any more. The answer was no, but they mentioned that they had a used Lightning on the lot. I meandered over there and found a black '00 with an A.R.E. cap on it. First L. I ever saw with a cap, and surprisingly it did not look bad at all. It was extremely clean and had an aftermarket ss catback and keypad entry. Didn't get a chance to look under the hood, or get any history on it, but if I had to cap my truck for some reason I would be less reluctant to do so after seeing that truck.

 

Well I guess I did a good thing then :) I used the web and called every dealer I could find from the ford dealer locator. I had 2 tell me they had vin# for 2002's and expect them any day Ya right!!!!!

I found one at Elmonte Ford and was totaly raped but I got rid of my Camaro SS and now have an L :) It was black I wanted silver but Black is kewl :)

No I dont want to talk about what I payed :) and Not one dealer I talke to would do Xplan so I saved my 40 bucks :( and was burned the 3 grand :(

Um ya When I started looking chino hills had 4 and Colly ford had 4 but when I got my stuff together they were all gone :( I live 2 blocks from Chino Hills ford so know they dont have any, I also checked with all the palces lised in this post and all said No lightnings in stock.

All I can say is good luck and burn up the phone lines.
