Just a question to all. How do you usually run your trucks at the street, track as far as overdrive goes. MY OD is always on , but i've never towed and had it at the track yet.

I leave my OD on all the time except when I expect street combat from a slow roll. Then I punch the button to keep it from rolling into OD if the rpms level out .

Since you haven't changed rear gears, you should be able to run the 1/4-mile out in third gear, so O/D shouldn't come into play. On the street, if I think I'll be playing, I leave the O/D off.

I turn mine off at the 1/4 mile(as per JL) even though I'm still accelerating in third gear in the 'traps'. It also helps for the slow down after the 'traps'.
