Question Anyone else having the site take a while to load up for them ??

I was just wondering but if its just my connection or is anyone else having it take a long time for the site to load up for them? Its been happening for the past few days. So anyone else having this problem?

I have a cable connection and have been having a lot slower downloads on this site for a few days now. No problems anywhere else though. Just here.

Ya know, in just the past five minutes I've noticed an improvement. Did someone flip a switch or something?

Thumbs up

Today it is loading fine for me with broadband.

Hey Doug,

Who is you DSL carrier? I was wondering if it might be available in the Houston area. Mine is discontinuing service where I live, and so far I haven't found anyone that offers any kind of high speed internet here.

It is unlikely that the site is fast for some and not others I bet it is the Internet ...

There is a recurrance of the Nimda virus. A new variant...
It is likely slowing down network segments. I know my firewall is getting hammered again....639 Nimda attacks since 11/1, over 70,000 Nimda type attacks since July. And the firewall autoblocks after a preset number of attacks so the number is likely MUCH highter.

Ask your providers if they are seeing any network issues from the new variant. It is amazing that so many people have not updated thier software.

ASVTFordBoy - Check your email..

Thanks Doug

I have only had a problem with this site for the last few days. That is at work and home. It was that way until late this afternoon. It's working great now. Go figure. It could have been a Qwest problem. That is who we use at work and I think they handle some of Road Runners traffic.

At least it's not as slow as the LS1.com site. I thought they'd have a fast web site to make up for their slow vehicles. I wonder what their excuse would be...
