Question Nitrous Long-Term Effects

I was thinking of getting nitrous, but I've heard some bad things about it. What can I expect from it? Anyone have any horror stories with it, etc...?

BOOM! if it's not used properly, or setup right. It is not for the street or everyday use either.
The truck must be tuned to run nitrous, and works best with high octane gas, or a nitrous fuel additive.

The bottle looks really cool back in the bed.

You'd really only use it at the track. From what I'm told, you can safely use 100HP shot without issues.

You just need to have your chip burned for it and get NGK plugs instead of the platinums. Other than that, not much to worry about.

Just make sure you have enough FUEL and you'll be OK.

And make sure you heat the bottle to the correct temp, but I'm sure you already know that.

Depending on how much juice you spray you'll need different plugs like rich said. The TR6's will work on a 50 shot and lower, anything about 50 to 100 I would go with a TR8 and above 100 I would use a TR9.

You could spray a 150 shot, but thats going to need a way different program and some good fuel pressure. Sal and spiro have both done it before so you might want to ask them.

Sal at PSP is the guy you want to talk to for all you nitrous needs.
