Talking 11 Second Club

First THANK YOU JL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! JL and Sue your hospitality is simply unbelievable!!
Saturday at Cecil I ran faster than I thought possible for a non-nitrous L on a JL street chip with 94 octane I was hoping for 11.9’s as I had been for the past few weeks but today with the awesome tuning of Johnny Lightning all of my goals were blown away!! JL worked with my truck until 2:30 am Saturday and it paid off The JL 5lb pulley really got me moving out of the hole!! I also want to thank Mike Reynolds for the AWESOME headers which were a big contributing factor today!! JL thinks I can go faster, even though I am obviously very happy just where we are!! The moment I was handed the time slip with the 11.79 @ 115.06 was the happiest I ever been while racing!!!!!! I was so pumped I could hardly get back to the pits!! It was a great day!! If anyone can post the video of the run let me know as something must be wrong with imagestation :

Jim,

Congrats on the awesome times!!!

Its hard to believe that long tubes could do so much.

Dont take this wrong, but what now???? Lower 11's?? Rollbar??? Let off???? No more FFW without the safety EQ in place............

Who ever would have thought that these trucks would be capable of this????????????

BTW, is your long tube setup catless?????????? 4 into one?? Those LFP headers?????

Again, CONGRATS!!!!!

later

We had a great day Totaled! My quickest run for Sat. was a 12.07@112.4, almost hit the 11's. The long tubes are next! JL also made an 11 second pass. Another one of our friends with the same setup as I ran a 12.05. Some cooler weather and I think we'll go deep into the 11's.

99svtlightning:You should have stayed. You would have certainly ran 11s.The weather just kept getting better all night and traction to spare.
